Back to uni after a very busy summer. Step into second year and its full of projects, assignments and deadlines thrown at us from all directions. It was a bit scary at first but now its beginning to sink in that were back to uni im getting back into the swing of things.
Im really enjoying working on the Panto stuff and its a shame I couldn't help out more over summer. Working on the back cloth has been interesting as its the first time iv worked on one so its been pretty fun. Drawing and scaling up images is taking me a little longer to get my head back into it but im gradually getting there.I haven't had to do any colour mixing yet but im sure my time will come.
Its been good working just in our major subject. Iv really enjoyed the last couple of weeks getting right in there and being part of the real thing. Im really excited for Panto. The set looks amazing. A little daunting at first when I was shown the model box but Sarah seems to have her head around things and is a pretty easy person to work with and take orders from so im sure it will all run smoothly.Im looking forward to taking a little break from Panto work to work on Medea. The set model again looks pretty interesting, especially the backdrop and the staircase.
Im excited to be back at uni. Realising that we actually have to do some real work this year though.
