Last weeks of Carousel

Another week working on Carousel. Alex came and saw the work and told us that he wanted the huts broken down, even though his model pieces were in pristine condition, so after Simon had been at them with his axe, we had to touch them up and make them look worn down.

Tuesday was pancake day so we went to Rosie's after uni, it was great, we made so many pancakes, I don't know why we wait for that one day a year to eat them. Im going to eat them more often!

We had to add a bit more texture to the floor  and finish doing the side panels. A lot of this week was spent waiting for paint to dry so we were allowed to work on our personal projects. This perspective drawing i've decided to do is taking a long time! But now that i'm started it, i'm beginning to enjoy it a little more....although i am still only on building one of about 20, each with a different vanishing point, and there's the boats and the figures too....this is going to be a very time consuming project I think...

I started doing some planning for merry wives this week. Ordered some paints with Gary and went through the build schedule with Simon so just need to make a schedule for scenic now and we'll be ready to start in a weeks time. Very exciting!
Off home this weekend to see my mummy and sister as I've not seen them since the beginning of January!
Next week im going to knuckle down and start my portrait at home and go to a life drawing class on Tuesday at the flying duck and stay late one night to work on my personal project.

Not long left and a lot of work to improve on! Scary stuff!
